Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. If you join the launch notification list, we will use your information only for the purpose explained below.
If you choose to join the launch notification list, we will use your email address for one purpose only: to let you know when Mythikos becomes available on the App Store.
We do not send newsletters, marketing emails or promotional campaigns. We do not build marketing profiles or track you across the web.
This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it.
Who operates Mythikos?

What information we collect
When you join the launch notification list, we collect only the information needed to provide that service.
This includes:
- your email address
- the wording you agreed to when you signed up
- the date and time you gave consent
- the date and time you confirmed your subscription
- the date and time you unsubscribe, if applicable
- the current status of your subscription
- securely hashed confirmation and unsubscribe tokens
We do not collect:
- your name
- postal address
- telephone number
- marketing preferences
- behavioural profiles
- analytics linked to your subscription
We also do not intentionally retain IP addresses or browser information as part of your subscriber record.
Why we collect your information
We use your email address for one reason only:
To send a single email when Mythikos launches.
Once that email has been sent, no further launch notifications will be sent unless you choose to subscribe again in the future.
Our legal basis
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, or UK GDPR, we process your information because you have given us your consent.
You are free to withdraw that consent at any time.
How the sign-up process works
To help protect against spam and accidental subscriptions, Mythikos uses a double opt-in process.
- You enter your email address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated submissions.
- We send a confirmation email.
- You click the confirmation link.
- Your subscription becomes active.
If the confirmation link is never used, your subscription will not become active.
For additional security:
- confirmation and unsubscribe links use secure cryptographic tokens
- only hashed versions of those tokens are stored in our database
- plaintext tokens are never stored after they have been generated
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to operate the launch notification service.
Your information will be removed:
- after the launch notification has been sent
- if you unsubscribe before launch
- if an unconfirmed subscription expires
- when we no longer need the information to provide the service
We periodically review stored data and remove information that is no longer required.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
If you use it, your subscription will be marked as unsubscribed and you will not receive the launch notification.
You can also contact us directly at:
Third-party services

Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides the infrastructure that hosts the website and its backend services, including:
- Cloudflare Pages
- Cloudflare Pages Functions
- Cloudflare D1

Turnstile is used solely to help prevent automated or fraudulent sign-ups.
Resend
Resend is used to deliver transactional emails required for the sign-up process, including:
- confirmation emails
- the launch notification
- unsubscribe confirmations, where applicable
Resend is not used for marketing campaigns or mailing lists.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
These include:
- encrypted connections using HTTPS
- secure server infrastructure
- hashed confirmation and unsubscribe tokens
- collecting only the minimum information required for the service
While no internet service can guarantee absolute security, we work to keep your information protected using current best practices.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal information
- request that inaccurate information is corrected
- request that your information is deleted
- withdraw your consent
- object to or restrict certain types of processing where applicable
- lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority
We will respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable law.
